Nagpur : Glad to inform you that with the opening of the lockdown, the work of redevelopment of Futala lake by Maha Metro is being done at a fast pace and it is ready to be realized in its stipulated time which is 15th August 2021. Futala lake fountain project is a World Class Project which is being implemented in Nagpur in Maharashtra. Talking about today, the world's largest fountain is located in Dubai. But futala lake fountain project is going to break this record soon. Because world's largest musical fountain project is going to be built in Nagpur city.

About futala lake fountain project :-
1) At a cost of around Rs 113 crore, the entire project has been funded from the Central Road Fund (CRF).
It includes three components -
i)viewing gallery with projector room,
ii) multi-level parking plazaand
iii) cement concrete road
2) The Nagpur Improvement Trust (NIT) is developing a multimedia laser show at Futala lake which people will see from the gallery. The gallery has a length of 350 meters and a seating capacity of 4,000.
3) The duration of the multimedia show will be 30 minutes. The first ten minutes will focus on the history of Nagpur city and the second 20 minutes will be a musical and light show.
4) While the commentary is written by noted lyricist, Gulzar, the music is composed by AR Rehman and Resul Pookutty.
5) There will be a parking space near the gallery. It will have parking slots for 13 cars, 24 two-wheelers and 24 cycles. Also, a multi-level parking will be built near the gallery where people coming to watch the show will be able to park their vehicles.
6) This will be a 'mechanized puzzle' parking lot. There will be 1,000 parking slots for cars and 305 slots for two-wheelers.
7) Cement Concrete Road The length of the road will be 2.86 km. It is at the back and access of the gallery on the shores of Futala Lake. This road is 18 meters wide and 90 percent complete.
8) The road tunnel was built here earlier by Maha Metro but it was demolished in January 2019 due to some technical fault. The tunnel wall under the gallery would have acoustic problems and other technical problems, so it was torn down.
9) After which Mahametro prepared a new design. According to the new design, cement concrete roads are being built behind the gallery.
10) The work of viewing gallery and cement road project is progressing rapidly. By August 15, the viewing gallery and multimedia show will be ready.
